Farmington Hills, Mich. (May 8, 2013)---Louis C. Tegtmeyer, D.O., a board-certified general surgeon, has joined the medical staff at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills. He sees patients at his office in Westland, located at 35600 Central City Parkway, Suite 101, (734) 762-9111. A highly experienced surgeon, Dr. Tegtmeyer has performed many breast cancer surgeries, colorectal surgeries, and a variety of other general surgeries.
Following graduation from the Kansas City University of Medicine & Biosciences in Missouri, Dr. Tegtmeyer served a yearlong internship at Tucson General Hospital in Arizona and his general surgery residency at Garden City Hospital.
In addition to being a practicing general surgeon, Dr. Tegtmeyer serves on the clinical faculty of Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in the Department of Osteopathic Surgical Specialties.
Botsford Hospital is a multi-specialty 330 bed hospital and verified trauma center located in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
