Farmington Hills, Mich. (April 28, 2014)---Ashwini M. Shadakshari, M.D., has joined the medical staff at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills. She is board certified in rheumatology and internal medicine. Dr. Shadakshari sees patients at the Botsford Rheumatology Clinic located at 28100 Grand River Avenue, Suite 314, Farmington Hills, 248-471-1549, www.botsford.org/rheu.
She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, osteoporosis, fibromyalgia, psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, and other autoimmune diseases.
Dr. Shadakshari earned her medical degree in India. She completed a three-year internal medicine residency at SUNY University Hospital of Brooklyn at Long Island College Hospital, NY. She also served a two-year fellowship at SUNY Upstate University Hospital, Syracuse, NY.
She is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Rheumatology.
