Dr. Rabinowitz is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Sleep Disorders. He is a graduate of Wayne State University and the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Rabinowitz completed his training in Internal Medicine at Botsford Hospital and went on to a Pulmonary Fellowship at the University of Michigan Medical Center, Ann Arbor, Michigan. Further training in bronchoscopy was accomplished at Henry Ford Hospital and the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Rabinowitz also received sleep training at the Stanford School of Sleep Medicine in Palo Alto, CA and the Atlanta School of Sleep Medicine. In addition, the Detroit Medical Center provided training to Dr. Rabinowitz at Botsford Hospital.
Dr. Rabinowitz is Botsford’s former Chief of Pulmonary and has been involved in the training and teaching of interns, residents and fellows for over 35 years. He is currently the Medical Director of the Botsford Sleep Disorder Center. Dr. Rabinowitz is also the former director of Continuing Medical Education in charge of the Allen Zieger Memorial Lecture series.
Dr. Rabinowitz is Clinical Professor of Medicine at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Additionally, he is a Fellow in the American College of Osteopathic Internists and a Fellow in the American College of Chest Physicians. Other memberships include the Michigan and the American Thoracic Society.
